A: To patch a hole in a fiberglass swimming pool, first, drain the water out of the pool. Sand the area around the hole, apply a layer of fiberglass resin, and then cover it with a fiberglass patch. Smooth out any air bubbles and let it dry for at least 24 hours before adding water back into the pool.
Use the pool trowel to apply the plaster, pushing it into the divots you made with the chisel, as well as any corners. Push out any air bubbles and smooth the surface with the trowel, feathering the edges into the surrounding pool surface. Wait 15 minutes. Use the trowel to smooth the patched surface again.
Step 1. Turn on the filter and check the flexible hoses to locate the leak. Run a dry paper towel along the length of the hoses and note where the paper towel becomes wet. Mark this area on the hose by drawing a circle with a grease pencil. Video of the Day.

Properly applied, nearly anything made of thick plastic or vinyl can be used to patch a leaking waterbed. Vinyl shower curtains, old pieces of air mattresses and heavy plastic bags will work when cut about 2 inches larger than the hole in the waterbed and adhered with one of the previously mentioned adhesives. Repairing the Hole. Wipe the surface clean on both the inside and outside of the jacket and allow it to dry. Turn the jacket right side out and lay it on a flat surface. Smooth the fabric in the area where it will be fixed, exposing the hole. Measure the hole and add an additional inch to the diameter for overlap from your patch. If it does not affect the performance of the Polaris, and it's not spraying the windows (fountain is not too high), I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just slide the nearest float over it. If it bugs you, i suppose you could cut the hose at the pinhole and add a swivel. The proper fix, although a bit pricey, is to replace that section of hose. FcBdkQq.
