Yeah haynes does but i have not seen any other mention of it and can find no replacement parts for MK3 cars. Everything seems to be 2007 onwards which would be the MK4. The link below from autopressnews (2005) mentions a DPF would be available as a retro fit for the mondeo but wont be fitted to production cars until the MK4 came out.
